Like most people at Oxford, I don’t know why or how I got in. I was extremely nervous in my interview, but I managed to keep speaking and making sense through each of them. On top of this I had good marks from school and good references from teachers, which helps.

I really love Oxford, and have decided to stay here for a lot longer to do my PhD. It is a beautiful city with great teaching and learning opportunities. The university has something like 5 museums, 1 park, one botanical garden, one farm etc – seriously, A FARM! It also opens up many doors for future work, in business, research, further study etc.

What Oxford is NOT full of however are:
      1) Toffs or
      2) Geniuses

Yes everyone here is smart, but everyone isn’t the next Stephen Hawking or anything. Most students here are just above average in their school, with a passion for their subject and a desire to do something that no one in their family or at their school has done before.
