• Question: What type of science do you hate the most and why?

      I don’t know about hating a science, but I hate boring scientists.

      Science is about exploring the unknown and discovering the unexpected… it takes a special talent to make that boring, but some scientists can!

      I agree with Daniel – I can’t really say I hate a specific science…

      There are certain aspects I enjoy more than others, but that’s the same in any subject.
      In all science there’s the opportunity to experiment – be it an actual physical experiment, a thought experiment or a computer simulation – and for me experimentation is the key to science and the only way things are discovered!

      I don’t quite know how people can enjoy computational science, but some people do! And yes, some scientists make it seem like doing science is the biggest pain in the world – they couldn’t be more wrong, and are probably old! Centuries ago it was considered that working out how the world works was the greatest privilege, and I agree.
