• Question: Was being a potato packer as much fun as it sounds?

      No, though I’m not sure why it sounds fun!

      The place was about 3 degrees, even during summer. Most of the time I stood next to a conveyor belt, picking off potatoes that had stuff wrong with them. Sometimes I got to stack the packets as well.

      So no. No fun. Avoiding that sort of job is a good reason to do well at school.
