• Question: Plastic or glass bottles?

      Glass bottles are a lot more sustainable than plastic. Even if you reuse plastic, there is a risk associated with the plastic degrading into your water over time, so this is not recommended. Every time you recycle a plastic bottle the quality of the plastic decreases (meaning you can only make lower grade plastic products) but with glass, you can always make a new bottle from an old one! Also glass is reused in many parts of the world, and it can be reused basically indefinitely.

      Glass is much more pleasant to use… it feels solid and reassuring.

      Like Andrew says they also more sustainable, provided you don’t drop them on the floor!

      I think glass bottles are easier to reuse so i would go for that in terms of the environment… but they are heavier and more dangerous and i wouldn’t like to go running with one. So in conclusion, i think plastic for sports bottle and for concerts where people like throwing them and glass for at home where you can easily recycle. 😀
