• Question: My mum used to love biology but i m more into physics what would you do to prove that your best science is the best if arguing with someone who doesn't like that one but another.

Well, no science is really best, they’re good at different things.

On the other hand, Physics is best!

Physics is about finding the most basic description of how the Universe works, what’s going on underneath that causes the things we see. Biology deals with living cells and the things that they make up… everything that happens in cells is because of Chemistry… and everything in Chemistry happens because of Physics.

Seriously again though, Physics would be a pretty silly way to explain how a human body works. It would be impossible to figure out your blood pressure by counting all the atoms! So really it depends what you’re studying and what you’re interested in.

Well if she ‘used’ to love biology but you ‘still’ likes physics then physics must be the best 😉

Hmm, I’m not sure there’s anyway to “prove” one science is better than any other… I don’t think any are better than any others, they’re each used to explain different things.

On some broader level though, all sciences interact really well.
Whilst at University I studied a module on “Molecular Biophysics” and that was really interesting.

Science as a whole needs a good combination of biologists, chemists, physicists etc and all their work combined comes together to give a better overall picture of the world around us, which is what we’re all after, right?

Not sure if it’s possible to say which science is the best;)
Probably one will be not so good with another, and they are complementary to each other – for example without equipment which construction is based on physics (like microscope for example) there will be not so much achievement in biology, but it will be hard to explain some biology process just on physics way so both are needed.
