      YEA! Haha, do not show my supervisor this answer – basically I get paid to go something I love, to discover new things and to see if my own ideas work. Most of the time they don’t, but we’re all crazy enough to believe the next big discovery is just around the corner!

      Yes!
      I get to sit in a control room (like Homer Simpson) and help operate a particle accelerator – I think that’s pretty fun! It’s all the more fun because I’m not just there by myself, there’s always 3 or 4 people around doing the same thing, so that’s good too.
      The other, non-operational, side to my job is also fun – but can also be quite frustrating at times (I’m not that good at computer programming 🙁 …)

      Yes.

      I like writing computer programs, I like solving problems and I like giving talks…

      and I get to do all of those things all the time!

      Yes! My job is very fun… This afternoon i will be firing shots on the laser which is always good fun… being part of a team that is trying to do something that no one has ever done before 😀
