Yes… the ponderamotive potential… but it seems to cause a lot of confusion since at my most recent conference an argument broke out over it…
something else that confuses me is time and space and space-time… are there many dimension or universes? What was before the big bang? Why are we even here?
Come to think about it, i think there might be less stuff that doesn’t confuse me than stuff that does… but it’s not knowing everything that means we always have interesting things to learn 😀
Most things in science confuse me – I think that’s the beauty of it? It’s confusing, and then little by little things start to drop into place, over time?
I’m better when there’s an experiment that I can see or touch – otherwise my brain doesn’t seem to be able to comprehend things that well. Quantum physics is an absolute non-starter for me, I battled through it at university, but to be honest there are some things I’m good at and blatantly quantum physics isn’t one of them, but I’m happy enough accepting that. It still interests me, but from a distance, and I try not to get too involved!
A lot of it! Really, honestly, I still feel like there is this huge amount of information out there that I will never be able to know. It’s the same feeling I had at school, so if you feel like you don’t quite understand everything first time, that’s okay!
I guess the major thing is the mathematics behind some of the things I do, and I should really fix that ASAP.
