      I’m a PhD student at the minute, so I’m not in a “proper” job yet.

      I get ~£13,000 a year, but that isn’t taxed.

      I earn about 30k 😀

      Like Daniel, I am a PhD student, so I get a standard studentship. This is actually £20,000 for me, but then I have to pay my fees to the university from that, so I end up with the same as Dan, around £13,500!

      I’ve just been promoted (yay!) off of the graduate scheme, so now I’m on about £26k. It was about £22/23k on the graduate scheme.
