• Question: How hard is your PhD

      It’s not as hard as doing my degree. You have to keep learning new stuff during the degree, and then be tested on it… a bit like at school but more so.

      But although I keep learning during my PhD I’m not always being tested on it. And I’m also applying the things I already know, which I guess is finally getting the benefit of the hard work I’ve done until now, and coming up with new ideas. It’s really rewarding when you start finding you have an idea that others haven’t thought of!
