• Question: How does a kaleidosope work?

      A kaleidoscope is a tube containing mirrors with bits of coloured glass and pretty things at the end… you see a small amount of the actual colourful material directly but see all the reflections of it which makes it look like a regular pattern. Then in my experience you can twist a part normally to change what is at the straight through positions and thus change the pattern you see.

      I think they are quite fun 🙂

      I haven’t played with a kaleidoscope in years! I should do that again.
