I have no tried to clone humans… but i once had a fantastic student i thought would be perfect to clone so i could have 3 or 4 of them in the laboratory. 😀

I do know they have successfully cloned a sheep called Dolly but one has to be very careful with clones. When an animal is born it has gene from both its parents… a cloned animal would only have the genetic material from the animal it’s being cloned from. It has been seen that cloned animals are often sicker than normal animals and so it’s not fully understood how to properly duplicate a person since the overall process is quite different in many ways.

In the EU reproductive human cloning – cloning of a whole human – is illegal.

I think this is because of the practical issues of increased sickness that Peta mentioned, and because of the moral objections that this would create.

I have never tried to clone humans – I don’t think I really like the idea – we’re all individuals and that’s what makes the world an amzing place, I think if there were clones then something in society would be lost. But that’s just my opinion!

Why try to clone a human when you could just make a whole different person! People are interesting for being different, if we were all the same then the world would be a scary scary place.
