I do believe in some sort of a God, but not an old man with white beard type of God, and not one which interferes in our lives.

It’s up to everyone to figure this out for themselves. Despite what you’ll hear some people claim, science is not capable of saying either way.

I don’t believe in God, but I don’t dismiss religion completely like some scientists do. If you want to read some very extreme views (that I don’t agree with) you should read Richard Dawkins books. He claims you cannot be religious and a scientist, that that is impossible!

I’m a mad fan of Liverpool Football Club, and it’s a well known fact by every one at Anfield, or on the Kop, that Robbie Fowler is God 😛

No, seriously, I don’t honestly know what I believe 🙁 It confuses me when I think about it.

Where I work there are some very religious people, and some not at all religious people – just the same kind of mix as you’d find in most other occupations, I believe.

Yes, I believe in God who is truth and love. If you asking which one: God who is almighty, merciful, everlasting, omniscient, omnipresent.. And God who still remains a mystery as St. Augustine said: ‘If you understood him, it would not be God’. I’m Catholic.

Hmm…. Someone once asked the Dalai Lama (a Tibetan Monk and spiritual leader) which was the best religion. He expected to hear ‘Buddism of course’ since the Dalai Lama is a Buddhist but instead the Dalai Lama replied ‘Whichever religion gets you closer to God is the best religion. Whichever makes you a better person!’

… so the man said ‘ell what is it that makes me better?’

.. and the Dalai Lama replied ‘Whatever makes you more compassionate, more sensible, more detached, more loving, more humanitarian, more responsible, more ethical… whichever religion will do that for you is the best religion.’

So this is sort of what i believe… i think of God as being something but not really a someone… God is whatever god has to be for me to become a better person.
